Megadeth- A Tout Le Monde

I remember being shocked hearing this years ago, because of the female vocals. I love it! sometimes metal doesn't like to embrace thing's for it seeming to ''poppy'' So it's cool Megadeth did a song like this. This is for sure one of the highlights on youthanasia

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

All music is shit music and no music is real- gunsnhalen

Yeah! MTV said it was Pro-suicide rolleyes

Oh, I thought it was just for the simple fact that it was sung in French and was softer.

Well that to, but i think it was awesome they tried out something like this wink

But yes..... for some reason MTV Thought this song was bad enough to ban mad rolleyes

The song is awesome, but the original version is much better.

I kind of stopped paying attention to Megadeth when they released this album. Just picked it up recently and it is not bad but the mid nineties were not kind to eighties metal bands. I remember Anthrax' Stomp 442 was released around the same time and that album killed my interest in them stone dead. Metallica was on hiatus. Slayer released a covers album. Priest had Ripper Owens. Maiden had Blaze Bayley. It was not a great time to be a metalhead.

Yeah i mean i was born in 1990.. so sadly can't remmeber whn the albums where relased lol

But yeah confused the early 90's where a huge time for metal, mid 90's it was kind of eh, by the time Risk came out Metallica was making less then good albums. ANthrax made 442 confused , Priest had that silly Ripper album. White Zombie was big but by 96 Rob was done with them, And Motley Crue where............. lol lol is all i can say on them in the late 90's

It's funny, the cliche is that grunge/alternative killed hair metal but it also killed "real" metal or at least drove it deep underground. Pantera were still quite popular in the mid nineties but in general things kind of fell off a cliff for metal circa 1994-1995. Weird since Metallica was a huge seller circa 1991-1993 and Countdown to Extinction was also very successful around the same time. I guess all of those angry teenagers grew up and started listening to Tupac Shakur and the Notorious B.I.G.?
