Menudo ABC network program I used to watch this Saturday mornings. It wasn't a full show, but would run at the end of cartoons. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. The guy who formed them Edgardo Diaz made a FORTUNE off of these guys... he says his inspiration came from watching the Jackson 5. He probably also liked the idea of being around a bunch of young boys who he could and would end up (a few of them at least) molesting.. even though he's never been held accountable. Wealth = impunity unfortunately in much of Latin America. Change it one more time.. | |

^^I've never heard about the behind the scenes stuff. I don't really know anything about Menudo other than a member would get replaced upon turning 16. I stopped paying attention to them around the Ricky Martin days (that's when Robi was there too), and don't know about the later versions of the group.
