I have no sympathy for Suge. Did yall see how he was joking about how Eazy E passed away? disbelief

I never trusted Suge. He almost manhandled 2Pac prior to Pac's death because Pac told him "I want out of your shit" meaning Death Row.

Possibly but if Eazy had ongoing respiratory issues, then why wasn't the disease found sooner? He never even got diagnosed with acute HIV, just BAM "ya got full blown aids". Something isn't right about how he went down. My opinion and I'm sticking to it.

Btw, ovarian cancer is not easy to detect and many women don't routinely go the ob-gyn like they should. People are more likely to go the doctor for a bad cough than they would their reproductive system.

When Kurt Cobain died it was a big deal because he was "The Voice of a Generation" he and Nirvana started the grunge movement. The mainstream press did not cover Eazy's death the same way because he was a gangsta rapper and thus considered unlikeable and also he died of AIDS.

Eazy also hadn't been popular since NWA broke up. No one was bumping his Dr. Dre diss while people were bumping Dre's Eazy diss.

True but the fact that he started that gangsta rap craze, forever changing the face of rap music and the fact that he had AIDS which was still not common among celebs should have garnered him more coverage than what he got. I say this as a Nirvana fan. Yeah Curt's death was a loss but most of us weren't shocked. Dude had drug isses, relationship issues and talked about dying. Noody saw Eazy's death coming at least not that way.

Maybe that's why it took a minute or two to digest. "He died of what?" That's basically was the response from hip-hop heads.

I honestly think that he didn't know he was sick. His death was just interesting-the way it was kinda just put out there. Nobody wanted to say he got it from being promiscuous, from drugs or from unprotected homosexual activity. It was like folks were in shock cuz he was just a gangsta from the hood and this wasn't supposed to happen to him. Every time I see interviews with Dr. Dre and Ice Cube where they speak of his death they still kinda seem like they're still in shock or just unwilling to talk more about it.

He didnt.

He checked in I think once for breathing problems and then the second time thats when they diagnosed him with AIDs. Ironically, he was invited to the White House and before he got a chance to go that happened.

Eazy E was still very popular I'm not sure where Eazy E wasnt that popular is coming from...

Yeah I remember that from the NWA Behind The Music on VH1. I really don't think the other members even knew he was sick til it was too late. As for his daughter, her father is a hip-hop legend. Nothing will change that and if ole girl can't rap or sing I would hope she would just try other things lol

I think the main reason re disrespect is how Eazy died. Rappers and the black press don't like to think of him dying of AIDS because it makes them uncomfortable re a straight man dying of the disease.

I agree somewhat with U. But things have changed now. Everyone has someone in their family that has been affected by AIDS. Plus Magic Johnson has just won ownership of The Dodgers...That is a big achievement & speaks volumes...Easy E. is an icon & started gangsta rap & being an independent artist..Even before Prince..I used to see him all the time in the club scene when I would go out...

eye will ALWAYS think of prince like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. eye mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that prince wasn't of this earth, eye would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. prince

I never seen anyone diss someone so bad on a record that they make a group break up because that's what Cube did with NWA...

Maybe Dre and Ice Cube don't want to talk about his death out of respect for E's family.
