the colours of the album cover remind me of their Makes Me Wonder video, which to me is their best track to date. hope the new album is anywhere near as fun as that song.

I loved that song for months, wake up call was cool too though stupid at the same time

I am waiting for that! His past recent songs “I got the moves like Jagger…” with Christina Aguilera and another one, “My heart stereo….” are really awesome.

Maroon 5 Unveil Psychedelic Overexposed Album Artwork

April 16, 2012

Grammy-winning band Maroon 5 have just revealed the cover artwork for their much-anticipated fourth studio album, Overexposed.

According to frontman Adam Levine, the album will be "one of our most diverse and poppiest albums yet," and it shows in their psychedelic, and rather chaotic, neon-bright cover.

The album will feature 10 new tracks that the band recorded in Los Angeles, including collaborative features with Ryan Tedder, Benny Blanco and Wiz Khalifa. Guitarist James Valentine has said that they have taken a new approach with the project, noting"At this point in our career I think it was a good thing to completely mix up our process and it yielded good results, as well as a more collaborative spirit within the band."

He continued, "We wanted to make something that sounded contemporary with the elements of a lot of early eras of pop music. This is our most 'pop' record ever and we weren’t shy about really going for it."

Overexposed was executive produced by Max Martin, and it will be available on shelves on June 26th.

New Single Breaks Chart Record

April 26, 2012

Maroon 5 have broken a US chart record with their new single ''Payphone''.

The track - which features Wiz Khalifa - shifted 493,000 downloads in a week, giving them the highest ever first-week single sales for a group.

The song, which debuts at number three on this week's Billboard Hot 100, beats previous record holders Black Eyed Peas, who sold 465,000 copies of ''Boom Boom Pow'' the week of April 18, 2009.

Maroon 5's track marks the eighth best-selling download sales week in the chart's history.

I can't wait to not buy it. Was never a Maroon 5 fan, but if I was I would be majorly pissed off about that fruity "Moves Like Jaggar" B.S. There's nothing sadder than when a (pseudo) rock band goes dance…but then again most of their fanbase is probably female pop fans, so it probably doesn't matter.

If Payphone is any indication of the direction this album will take then I am gonna sleep through this era, too bad cuz I really loved their first two albums.

That said, I could sit for days and watch Adam Levine read out of a phonebook.

Adam can sing like a bird - I've always thought he's underrated as a vocalist when he really shouldn't be - but honestly, the guy just seems like a total douchebag and I think that as a group, Maroon 5 is pretty much done and have gone as far as they're going to go.

I can understand why the keyboard player bowed out of this one.
