Was watching Poetic Justice the other night on BET. Did they ever mess around on the side?

They had good chemistry.

She was scared of Pac

What movie were U watching? Janet & 2Pac had no chemistry whatsoever in that movie. She had more chemistry with Q-Tip.....

Hmm... the girl's cute but I think she'd be cuter and she'd inherited the infamous Jackson cheekbones.

That said, I don't think no relationship would've popped off because, as someone already said, Janet was scared of Pac. Pac even admitted he may have had something to do with how Janet perceived him.

And compared to pics with her & that munchkin she just broke up with....Please.

No I'm not being sarcastic. Even some of the cast in the movie said it....2pac was something to deal with back then. Janet didn't even want to do a love scene with him or kiss him, unless he had a AiDs test...Then as soon as the movie wrapped. Janet changed her number & never talked or dealt with him again & he was pissed....2Pac did want her & liked her. But it wasn't the same on Janet's end. She was dating Rene at the time, who was on the set during every scene she did. Rene even had a small part in the movie...

Cosign on that. I didnt like Poetic Justice I just got the sense they didnt like each other and it transferred onscreen. Janet was miscast in that role.

Damn I thought I was the only one that felt that way!!! She tried too damn hard to act ghetto. Her acting seemed forced and it didn't come natural. I've always felt for years that another actress could have done a better job. I like Janet and all, I just didn't like her in this movie.

I love Poetic Justice but I agree. Yea the ghetto acting wasnt horrible but their could have been a better actress to play it. I think anybody could have played Janets part.

Janet overall is a fairly descent actress but some roles fits her better than others.

Surely you remember she was actually married at the time right? You of all people should remember that one....

I sure do remember & know that. Rene let it be known when he would call up to Janet's record label Virgin Records at the time.....

I forgot to mention, I only reminded you of this because I didn't understand why you referred to them as merely dating when they were married.

Forgot that peeps here knew that.Since the person that started the thread didn't pick up on the non vibe on the screen between Janet & 2Pac.....I kept it a secret for so long back then.That I forget its out now..
