'course one of my favorites was his first album, that basically gave birth to the Yellowjackets

Yes, March in L.A. been berry berry good to me in terms of quality live music.
Last week, Rachelle Ferrell. This week, Allen Hinds and Robben Ford.

Also, last week I went to see a friend's group (Dessy Di Lauro).
Her husband, Ric'key Pageot normally playing keyboards, is in NYC rehearsing with Mad-Onna.
Got there early and while watching the first band I noticed that the bass player looked familiar.
Turns out it was Hadrien Feraud!
