Fantasia is back in the recording booth.

The singer -- who gave birth to her second child, Dallas, back in December -- has been in the music studio with Kandi Burruss.

The Grammy Award-winning songwriter and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi tweeted about the experience, writing, "Man Fantasia is hitting some notes in this booth that literally are giving me the chills! That girl can SANG!!!!!!!"

Video shot by Kandi shows Fantasia belting into a mic, singing, "I could cry a world of tears, thinking back over the years. But what is that gon' solve, it didn't break me so I'm here, yeah. And I can remember nights, when I had to fight for life. I was screaming help, but nobody could hear, no..."

Kandi wrote the survivor's anthem, then passed it along to aspiring singer Melissa Rose, who trotted it out as a contestant on Kandi's Bravo special The Kandi Factory.
