This is a classic album. A reissue of it every 10 years doesn't sound too bad to me. The 2002 reissue I have is cool, too! I love collectible vinyl. :3

The pattern I've noticed is there's reissue of the album every decade.

This looks pretty lame. There are some songs from the last edition that are missing from this one. There was very little of interest on the 2002 version that was not already on the Rykodisc version. It doesn't look like there is the material to warrant yet another reissue.

Looks like Bowie is trying to rival Elvis Costello when it comes to reissuing the same albums over and over again. lol

er

Totally love this album so, so much. Saw Bowie in Concert in 1997 but it was a let down for me cuz he didn't sing any early stuff like this at all.

I'm glad that Bowie is still doing these nice reissues, but I'd rather it was something that hadn't really been explored. We've had all this stuff already. How about a nice 2-disc collection of material from the "Low" and "Heroes" era, or a deluxe edition for "Lodger" or "Scary Monsters". There are albums just as good as Ziggy if not better in his catalogue - - the constant focus on it is rather annoying.

What about a four disc opus of The Glass Spider!?

Now that would be required listening.

Such an amazing record, can't believe it's about to be 40 years old! The reissue might not have anything new but I'm all for new people discovering it.
