I can't stand Ray J. He's a hanger on for sure. Nothing authentic about that dude at all!

Here it is...
Warning: It's a painfully awful performance so brace yourself if you haven't seen it before.
She definitely looked pregnant, maybe not 6 months but she looked preggers and wasn't hiding it either. [Edited 3/22/12 17:34pm] I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

My family and I took a trip cross country once, and the vet told me to give my cat Benadryl so he would be calm in his porter. I actually gave him half of what the vet told me to give him, and the poor kitty was drooling pink and hallucinating, acting crazy! Scared me to death of Benadryl!

I haven't read the whole thread so maybe this has already been mentioned later in the thread.
It could be that Whitney had an enlarged heart... (often the case with chronic drug users) and she had an event that sent her heart into a lethal rhythm. She passed out, and went under water.
The water didn't actually kill her, because if she hit the ground, she would have still died from the heart rhythm.. but since she did breathe in water, drowning was a contributing factor.
^^ Not saying this is what happened to Whitney but very plausible. It happens all the time.
Enlarge hearts can be nothing big, or could be something serious. It just depends on how much enlarged, and how well your heart can function (pump blood) in its enlarged state.
Those teen atheletes that drop dead for no apparent reason and later it is found to be a "heart attack" did not have blocked arteries... they had enlarged heart due to a birth defect and one day the heart just stop pumping.... instead started to quiver like jello, no blood pumping.
Then poof you are dead whether you are on a basketball court in front of hundreds of fans, in a marathon race, driving a car, or taking a relaxing bath. "Remember, one man's filler is another man's killer" -- Haystack

Cocaine is an upper. Sends the heart racing and blood pressure to the roof. The antidote for cocaine intoxication is blood pressure medication. Catapress "Remember, one man's filler is another man's killer" -- Haystack

I'm counting it as misinformation if we're told by yahoo that it's an "accidental drowning" if it was a heart attack then. They should have just waited until they had everything like they did with Mike.

right. All those drugs listed Flexeril, Benadryl, Xanax, Alcohol... all downers. Depress the nervous system... slows the breathing... makes you go into a deep sleep.
Add them all together... and a hot bath, and chronic heart condition is enough to put you in a deep sleep. The chronic heart condition (which I am convinced Whitney had congestive heart failure because those recent pictures she looked bloated) could have been the final piece to that tragic puzzle. I will go one better. I bet you Ray J scored for Whitney. It has always been my belief that Bobby got into Whitney's world because he was her way to score.
Ray J was just the new Bobby. Straight up. Think about it. Whitney was from Atlanta. She had her old stand bys. But when you go to a strange town.... well you gotta get someone you trust, who can get the stuff... that the stuff is good and you don't get caught.
I'm sure Whitney could manage without Ray J. But he is there and willing. Why would she not go to her buddy? "Remember, one man's filler is another man's killer" -- Haystack

I noticed the bloating too-look at her face in the pic in the Op Post. I'm not gonna go into it cuz apparently when you start talking sense around here it offends people

She had to. Its no way she went under water like that, without going into cardiac arrest first. I believe she was already dead before she hit the water... will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. ![]()

As far as Whit being preggers-she always kinda had a lil belly after she had Bobbi. Add bloating/swelling from all those years of drugs and Heart failure.

Sounds exactly right. | |

Actually the toxicology reports about said Whitney died of a heart attack. Them saying the cause is an accidental drowning is actually abridged. She did drown but also had heart disease. It's plausible that she did die of what Dionne Warwick suggested. [Edited 3/22/12 18:20pm]

what a stupid bitch... | |

Fuck you. | |

you are right. She did look preggers, past 3 months. And she wasn't trying to hide it. If it was a gut that could have been easily camoflauged. She wore a tight camisole, and then she kept taking her jacket off her shoulders.
One thing I am noticing. By 2003 all the damage was done. Whitney couldn't sing anymore. And did you notice how out of breath she was? She couldn't hold notes very long. Not just the quality of the sound. She was physically unable to hold long notes without gasping for air. And she looked a little bloated there.
I think her heart condition was heart failure. And one of the things with heart failure is enlarged heart, and the risk of going into lethal rhythms. That is the reason that grandpa gets one of those special pace makers... a defibrillator.
Dick Cheney is a classic example of an advanced case of heart failure. "Remember, one man's filler is another man's killer" -- Haystack

I wonder if she developed heart disease during that chaotic 2001-2002 period...

hehe...do you think was an intelligent move on her part??

Lil pointless now to throw stones at a corpse, babe.

Intelligent or not, referring to a woman as a bitch who obviously had a drug addiction is disrespectful. Especially someone who's dead. If it was your sister, would you be fine if I called her a stupid bitch?

right. And why call her a female dog? She was a woman. Someone's mother, someone's daughter. A child of God (as her mother reminded people).
Just very harsh. I hope you never have to hear anyone talk about Ava that way. "Remember, one man's filler is another man's killer" -- Haystack

I saw a 2004 performance of I will always love you and she sang pretty darn good there, I was shocked, so I came to the conclusion that the bulk of her damage must have happened later. was shocked because 2004 wasn't that long ago. The audience went nuts too.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
fair enough... i tap out...maybe too harsh..
I dont hear "oh poor Whitney"...she could of cared less about her mother, her daughter..it was her own selfishness is why she died she went to rehab for what a vaction?? so much for her inner circle they knew what was going...just like elvis...just like MJ...
everyone is a child of God...supposedly.... but a child of God would not of made an exit like that...

Even... *gulp* "Children of God"... or whatever... are not infallible. I gather that nobody on the org, and I mean nobody, understand what it is like living in that life. I suppose Militant is the closest you'll get to having someone here understand the pressure.
Frankly, while I might feel there were some aspects that reflect a certain way, it's not really my prerogative (hey now) to get stuck on that stuff. It's better to remember a person like Whitney Houston in a positive light, no matter what her skeletons are.
We're not talking about someone out there hurting people. We're talking about a tragic figure who helped bring joy and peace to millions of people.

Whitney tried to be sober and they always made sure she had a vocal coach. That period when she was at the World Music Awards was sobering because she had a period of sobriety but again she relapsed. I think the pressures of the business got to her that she would return to using something that got her relief for more than 20 years. I was fearing she had lost her voice for good when I heard it at the Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy in 2006. She tried singing "One Moment in Time" but she could barely hit ANYTHING. Just a raspy mess.

It's possible Whitney may have just been genetically at higher risk for heart disease like a lot of people, yet years of drug abuse contributed to her eventual demise. I remember when Jerry Garcia died in 1995 from heart disease, he had been clean and sober for at least a decade, but the years of doing copious amounts of drugs during the late 1960's and all thru the 1970's probably did a lot of serious damage to his vascular system. Now it's possible to reverse some of that type of damage to your body, but it takes a huge change in lifestyle and diet to do that. Jerry Garcia was clean at the time of his death, but I don't believe he did anything extraordinary in his lifestyle to reverse the effects of heart disease caused by years of drug abuse. The same thing happens to people who abuse steroids as well, as I remember one of the WWE wrestlers died of a heart attack at just age 36. He was clean at the time of his death, but the years he took steroids did a number on his arteries.
Most likely, Whitney went to take a bath, had a heart attack as she entered the bathtub, collapsed into the tub, and drowned as a result. Regardless of how exactly she died, it's a really tragic loss.
