For the most part, your right with the cause of Bruce Lee's death. They tried covering up the real cause of death from the public because of who he was. However, I dont think he consumed the Cannibis because he was addicted to it. I heard it was to help with his traning. He was a workaholic and always conscious about his health. He was not eating much and he had no body fat on him (which is not good with the amount of cannibis he consumed) He almost died from it before. His doctor warned him about it but he still continued to consume it.. your pretty much right about everything. I researched it heavily a few months back after watching The Dragon: Bruce Lee movie. His life is so inspiring and he seemed like a very sweet, open and fun person. Its sad because he passed soo young. sad

I used to believe he just burned himself out. Either way, it was flukish the way he died whether by marijuana or pain pill. I've never heard of anyone else dying from such minor stuff.

no, he wasn't. the reason he was so light at the time of his death was the heat and humidity in Hong Kong, the film work and his relentless drive. He lost about 15-20 pounds over the course of the films he made their. Actually got down to as low as 122 pounds and his death weight was 127.

I think Timmy was speaking in general and Bruce Lee was a vegetarian at one point in his life. His exercise routines and nutrition would always change. He was very very conscious of the foods he ate and always tried to be healthy.

The reason why his body fat was so low was because he was in intense training. Bruce Lee even before leading up to his death always had low body fat.

I could've sworn I read he didn't wanna eat meat or maybe he meant junk food since he did say he didn't eat that shit. lol He felt the food got in the way of getting the body right - which he was right on.

Could be but I've never heard anyone say that and I've done a lot of reading. He may have went through a phase, I don't know. But I've never heard that. With Bruce or any popular figure you hear all kinds of nutty stuff though, I've heard since I was a little boy that he used to eat raw liver put through a blender.

I think they actually showed Jason Scott Lee in that "fake ass biopic" of Bruce doing something like that when he was in one of those Rocky-esque training sequences and he's putting raw liver in a blender and then he tastes it and has the classic "UGH" reaction but he manages to swallow it. lol I wouldn't be surprised if that was a myth. Bruce Lee surely became a myth after he died.

Your research showed his cause of death was attributable to cannabis?!

What does body fat have to do with cannabis?

Bruce Lee's death was officially attributed to cerebral edema.

On July 20, 1973, Lee was in Hong Kong, due to have dinner with former James Bond star George Lazenby, with whom he intended to make a film. According to Lee's wife Linda, Lee met producer Raymond Chow at 2 P.M. at home to discuss the making of the movie Game of Death. They worked until 4 P.M. and then drove together to the home of Lee's mistress Betty Ting Pei, a Taiwanese actress who was to have a leading role in the film. The three went over the script at her home, and then Chow left to attend a dinner meeting.

A short time later, Lee complained of a headache, and Ting Pei gave him an analgesic. At around 7:30 P.M., he lay down for a nap. After Lee did not turn up for the dinner, Chow came to the apartment but could not wake Lee up. A doctor was summoned, who spent ten minutes attempting to revive him before sending him by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital. However, Lee was dead by the time he reached the hospital. There was no visible external injury; however, his brain had swollen considerably, from 1,400 to 1,575 grams (13%). Lee was thirty-two years old. On October 15, 2005, Chow stated in an interview that Lee was allergic to Equagesic. When the doctors announced Bruce Lee's death officially, it was coined as "Death by Misadventure."

However, the exact details of Lee's death are controversial. Bruce Lee's iconic status and unusual death at a young age led many people to develop many theories about Lee's death, such as a murder involving Triads, gangsters, ninjas, and so on — none of these have ever been proven.

To be fair there are ALOT of theories of how he passed away because alot people wanted to cover up what really happened so anything is possible. However, that doesnt change the fact that his doctor did have to remove cannibis from his stomach leading up to his death because he almost died from it the first time. I just read that if Lee had more body fat during the time when he was consuming the cannibis he might of had a better chance of living.

But anything is possible, not claiming to know everything. He did use cannibis though.

Man Confesses He Removed Evidence From Whitney Houston Death Scene: ‘Someone Had To Do It’ (EXCLUSIVE DETAILS)

A close confidant of the late pop diva Whitney Houston has admitted he cleaned up the hotel room where she drowned, Celebuzz has learned.

In an interview with respected Dutch newspaper The Telegraph on February 15, just four days after the singer’s death, Raffles van Exel confessed: “The room had to be emptied.”

“Someone had to do it,” van Exel told the newspaper, according to a translation of the article published online.

Van Exel stopped short of telling The Telegraph what exactly he removed from the suite and he has not returned Celebuzz’s request for comment.

Last week, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office declared Houston, 48, died from an accidental drowning in a hotel bathtub with the “effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use.”

Sources tell Celebuzz that Beverly Hills police are still investigating how Houston acquired the drugs that contributed to her death and whether they were hidden from police and first responders.

No cocaine or drug paraphernalia were found in the suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., the source adds.

However, Houston’s cocaine use appeared to have occurred “in the time period just immediately prior to her collapse in the bathtub at the hotel,” Chief Coroner Craig Harvey said when he announced the findings of his report, last week.

“(Houston’s case) is still an open investigation for us… I can’t disclose any details about the investigation,” BHPD Lt. Mark Rosen told People on March 23.

In various media released, Van Exel, a Dutch national, touts himself as a “highly respected entertainment consultant” who has “guided some of the world’s most acclaimed executives and celebrities.”

His relationship with Houston and other stars, including late King of Pop Michael Jackson, have been the focus of investigation on two websites, including the urban blog Diary of a Hollywood Street King and Forbes.

Understood he used cannabis, but cannabis didn't kill him.

If it did, it would be first death ever attributable to cannabis.

Again, what is the supposed link between body fat and cannabis?

Your brain receptors can only uptake so much THC at a time, the rest just floats in your blood stream until eliminated or it finds an open receptor to attach to. Fat can probably store THC but you don't NEED body fat to absorb THC.

What your brain can't uptake your kidneys and liver will eventually flush out.

Since the rest of the body doesn't have THC compatible receptors it doesn't affect the rest of your body.

So again, I'm not understanding why people want to keep implying that cannabis can kill. There is no evidence it can in a dose any human can ingest.

I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

Two things from this conversation come to mind--over indulging anything can kill--depends on how you do it. If you smoke cannabis, it is the act of inhaling smoke that kills from all the carcinogens involved in the act of smoking, just as cigarettes can kill. Also, even if you eat cannabis you can over do it--although I don't know of anyone that died from it but some have had really bad trips and become sick from eating too much. The act of smoking anything is damaging to the heart--doesn't matter what kind of smoke you inhale. Take this from someone trying to quit cigarettes. neutral

KCOOLMUZIQ

Cocaine Found In Whitney Houston’s Hotel Room

Whitney HoustonWeeks after reporting that no illegal drugs were found in Whitney Houston‘s hotel room, sources are now reporting that authorities DID recover cocaine in the room where the singer died, TMZ has learned.

Official documents show one of the items police recovered was “white, powdery remnants” which was tested and it is cocaine.

Yesterday IT WAS reported that police wanted to talk to Houston’s “associate” Raffles Van Exel after he made claims he cleared the singer’s hotel room before police arrived to the death scene. But now that’s apparently on hold because they’re convinced it wasn’t removed.

Cocaine was listed as a contributory factor in 48-year-old Houston’s February 11th death. The official cause of death was accidental drowning after she was found dead in the bathtub.

Something seems fishy!!

look, we've been over all of this, the two doctors who were there believe that an alkali from the strain of cannibis killed him. That's what I'm going off of, they gave the official cause, blaming the pain pill for the allergic reaction to save face and to get insurance money. I guess the particular strain bruce consumed had a similar effect on people in tibet where the hashish was from. That is my understanding. Bruce's dying from cannibis makes the most sense, especially in light of the fact that he had nearly died before (well documented) and the only thing they could trace it to was the cannibis. Freakish as it may be I have to believe it. I wish the doctors would come argue with you guys, it's not my findings, i'm no doctor.
