Back in the 70's, I was the youngest member of the household, and there just weren't a lot of songs my family could relate to when I took over the record player and started spinning my Funk albums. But one of the songs that caught my older sister's attention (R.I.P. Deb) was "Concentrate On You" when I'd play L.T.D.'s "Togetherness" album. She loved Jeffrey Osbourne's voice, and loved the call & response part toward the end of the song. I always remember my big sister when I hear this song.
Today, "Togetherness" remains one of my favorite CD's in my collection. So along with the other real-music lovers here on this thread, I'm gonna put my headphones on, and let L.T.D. take me on a trip back into time.
