Thee single GREATEST organist that ever walked on this earth IMVHO.

I heard an organ recording of him playing "Swing Low" in some radio broadcast during his last years, it sound & FELT like it was on orchestra playing. It was only Fats Waller's organ.

Which makes sense, because before his recording career, he used to work as an organist in movie theatres.

the man was awesome, the best of eras have gotten worse and worse as far as pianists are concerned in popular music. As a pianist I don't get how he got so good with all the supposed cavorting he did.
