He does not get NO love here on the org... But that is my dude.... He was working on an album but nothing tops his 90s works.... Donell is great and pretty good songwriter...

Donell Jones is one of my favorite artists. He does not get NO love here on the org... But that is my dude.... He was working on an album but nothing tops his 90s works.... Donell is great and pretty good songwriter...

Agreed-Donell is a great artist. He has never really gotten props for his talent. He is also a great hook singer on so many folks songs. Was it his 3rd or 4th cd that tanked? I bought it hoping it was as good as Where I wanna be and it wasn't sad

His lastest album was titled "Lyrics" so it might be that one and that is 6th album. Donell should be having the career Neyo has but Donell keeps it real with his music...but his techincally a way better "Neyo" and singer in my opinion if you know what I mean.

Im afraid nothing will top Where I Wannna Be and My Heart etc

HUGE fan of Donell Jones here. Actually, my 2nd favorite artist of ALL TIME. The only album IMO that has had any filler on it was his last album, Lyrics. Even his unreleased stuff is good.

I think one of the big reasons why Donell has never been as popular as somebody like Neyo is his music isn't as mainstream. I also think Donell lacks charisma. But I also don't think he's ever been promoted like he should.

Donell didn't fall off he had label problems & had a minor Rnb hit last year. He is indepentdent now...Very underated but a good songwriter. Who have had success with Madonna also....Like the tone of his voice.
