The Official Old School Funk Jams Thread Y'all know what to do
But before we begin,I have a question.Do you guys remember a 1981 jam called "Walking Into Sunshine" by a band called Central Line? The chorus goes... "Cause there'll be...sunshine Yes,I'll be walking into sunshine Sunshine...give me the sun Sunshine...soon all my rainy days will all be gone" I have this song on one of my many compilations but I was wondering,do you have any info on this group? What were there follow-up singles and albums?

"Walking Into Sunshine" is a nice, breezy synth-funk jam,not unlike the stuff that GQ was doing at the time.

Oh, I remember that Central Line jam. Finess, I think you're right about them being from England.
My OSFJ for today is the Invisible Man's Band's (formerly known as the Five Stairsteps) "All Night Thing." I just LOVE this joint. Flashing lights of red, blue, yellow and green, it's a funky scene.
