Anybody remember a radio show from the early 1990s called "Open House Party"? It aired on Saturday nights and they used the slogan "The Biggest Party On The Planet" and the DJ used to claim that he was broadcasting live from his house. They played all the club hits of the era. It was very entertaining. Sometimes they would even mix the music. They also had interviews from the celebrities that made the music and took a few requests from callers. It was a party based show though.
I remember I was working nights in a convenience store during this era and this radio show used to get me through the night at work on a Saturday night and get me in a partying mood to go out and party later when I got off work at 11:00 p.m. Andy is a four letter word.

Oh wow that brings me back! I remember listening to it on Q103. It had a big, expansive feeling, like you were really listening to a wild party. I always liked that they played a lot of fun slammin' music with occasional remixes. Thanks for the post, I hadn't thought about that show in ages!

I didn't even know it still existed. Thanks for the link, we may have to stream it this saturday! Since the disco radio show here in Milwaukee got axed by the suits we are in dire need of a new party hookup.
