20 million... how much of that 20 million is he keeping... that'll be a lot of money so $250,000 would've been easily spent if he had one child or no children...
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
So he put his own family in houses then let the homes go into foreclosure? Yeah that makes sense. Oh and what about that now defunct reality show he had on TV One? He didn't do that because he needed money? He may not be at negative 250K but he damn sure aint worth 20 mill. You stop! I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. How shall I put this? It is the opposite of having your hair looking smooth and well groomed and brushed. You have seen Keith yes? You are familiar with his hair. Well imagine if his hair looked like this only drier:

hotgritz.. the reality show is just one of the numerous offers that keith sweat gets when he answers his phone when someone offers him a job. does he need the money... who knowns. we don't known the full details about this forclosure deal. did he buy the homes for himself or family? did he work out a deal where he buys the house and they pay the note or does he pay the note? this is just a snippet of what happen. so let all just chill and see where this gos.

he can file for bankrukcy and he wont owe the 253k. The reason the banks put down 20% on houses is to protect them from the houses losing that much since the value has gone down by more the bank takes the fall
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
You think he think bankruptcy would cause him embarrassment for his reputation... again I don't see why he would buy two houses...
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
this news has already caused the embarrasment. plus alot of ppl whose property is under water do file bankruptcy even if they have money
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Well maybe this (the banktruptcy filing) would save his hide... he should've looked into it.

Im tryna feel your POV BUT.....people who have their finances in order simply don't let TWO homes go into foreclosure. #1 its bad for your credit score and #2 its bad business especially when you supposely have the means to buy the house outright.
Here's the thing jackson, and this goes for many celebrities especially those who come from meager beginnings, people tend to live beyond their means and it's worse when you are famous and raking in your first few million. You have 10 million but you buy a 15 million home on credit which will cost you double and triple that over the life of the loan. Then come the cars and the trips and taking care of your friends and family and before you know it, you have all this debt but you aren't raking in the big bucks to pay it off.
I don't believe Keith is getting called daily for prime business ventures and commercial gigs anymore. I think he is on the same level as many of these reality tv stars and does guest spots here and there and tours with other 90s groups or does the casino circuit. He just isn't hot like he used to be and nothing is wrong with that per se but you have to keep those finances in order becasue for every celebrity who didn't crack the 100 million mark, there will come a rainy day and your umbrella might have holes in it. I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

sounds like the easy solution is to just sell the Atlanta home, settle the lien, and keep whatever's left - buy a cheaper house, condo, or move into an apartment.
Hardly seems like the deep financial pit that other artists get themselves into. Though it can certainly grow deeper if he doesn't handle it right.
KS still writes and produces and and can still make a little touring, so he SHOULD be okay, again if he handles it correctly.

Exactly. He could still handle this by selling the home that is being undervalued, keep the home you're raising your children in, and still be able to live without creditors breathing down your neck. He wouldn't be the first alleged multi-millionaire to have foreclosure problems.
