I've seen video footage of her in the 1980s and she was a very pretty girl. I don't know what happened to her in the 1990s though. She looked like something homeless. Agreed. She had an odd look with her long messy hair n no makeup. Yet she still got to hit up Ryan Reynolds somehow?!

I would laugh at her You Oughta Know look, but a few years ago, I really listened to what she was singing and felt sorry for her character in the video after the infidelity....but her hair IS an infedelity too :p
Did anyone else laugh at the Head Over Feet video when it came out? I remember two cuts of it came out, and a show here called Hit List (that I eventually started calling Shit List) once aired them both on a split screen and it was the funniest thing for a middle schooler at the time!

I see some Mariah and Paula influence in this song

Don't forget Janet. I admit I love older Alanis. Other good songs are Walk Away, Feel Your Love, An Emotion Away and The Real World

Prince is still mad 'Sign O' the Times' lost album of the year to Joshua Tree. I would've voted for Prince over U2 or Michael. I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

Ah, Alanis... "Head Over Feet" was my cut from this album, but it's still a good listen throughout. I also adore "Uninvited," but this little gem from the follow-up album may be my favorite:
That I Would Be Good "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis
