Lyfe Jennings Released From Prison

In 2010, R&B singer Lyfe Jennings was sentenced to prison due to an altercation with his ex-girlfriend.
Jennings was recently released from prison and is already working on a new project. His friend Carl Thomas released a video of him and Jennings in the studio together.
In the video, Thomas breaks the news on Jennings release as well as expresses his excitement about Jennings’ new music.

He was imprisoned for causing mayhem, eluding the police, discharging a gun, and refusing to take a DUI test. The list goes on and on. He had previously served prison time for arson. | |

I thought he would have been in jail for way longer than that. I remember he went on and turned himself in after an interview with Steve Harvey. Maybe they released him early due to overcrowding. Glad he is out and back in the studio..Hopefulley he will clean up his act now..  will ALWAYS think of  like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. |

Reading his story, he seems like one of those singers who have emotional problems but always relies on church to "get him through".

That said, whatever with him... lol I remember before he came out with the first album I was on line bb kings in times square I think for the Prince musicology aftershows or might have been for Mya when Moodring was out either way the dude and everyone with him handing out sampler CDs were shady looking, I mean real shady so I wasn't surprised that he had done time and did it again, scary thing is about him, it's all different crimes not one type..,,sorry but that's a red flag right there, when u have gun possession assault arson creating a disturbance police altercations u pretty much have issues and god and music are the last thing he needs. Yeah I remember he went to jail again for doing dumb shit. The only song I like to hear him sing is "Must Be Nice". Everything else he sings, sounds like he's taking a shit. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. | |
