I was crazy about Justin when I was 12-13 years.
still think that Justified - a very good pop album. [Edited 3/12/12 18:24pm]

He's trashed a lot here, but he actually makes really good music.

Another song that was intended for MJ?
MJ really missed the boat on these songs..

I'll take him over Robin any day. "A Man Can't Ride Your Back Unless It's Bent" MLK 4/3/68

From what I understand, the tracks on Justified were actually intended for Invincible, but Mike didn't want them or something.

His manager said no. Michael never even learned about the tracks till later.

When these tracks were offered to Mike in the mid to late 90s, the Neptunes weren't really a known production team.
Super Thug by Noreaga really put them out there, and that track by Mase both in 98 I believe. But it was Jay-Z's Give It To Me that made them a household name. PRINCE: Always and Forever

Hmmm.....I remember around the time Invincible was coming out, the Neptunes said they were working on some tracks for the album. Then Invincible comes out, with no Neptunes production, and then Justified come out with damn near every song sounding like it was intended for MJ

A Stevie Wonder knockoff, but an enjoyable, breezy one. My second favorite track on a good album. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

I loved this record for the most part. The second one sucked. "That's when stars collide. When there's space for what u want, and ur heart is open wide."

Yep! | |
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Ooh. Do you have any songs that I could hear?
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Yep, but they're on my computer. I can upload the one I just made if any of you want to hear it.

You mean the Justin Wonder song sure

Stevie-esque??
Nahh.
Just a rip-off of a classic Four Tops melody.

Huh?
You have listened to Stevie Wonder before right?
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I will, but I mean completion times. Sometimes I'll leave a song I'm working on and come back to it a few weeks later.

I noticed that on all of the neptunes songs on this album Justin really tries sounds like mike.

His music is good but I credit timbaland and neptunes for his success, not him. Like the music, not the man. I prefer him on SNL. [Edited 3/14/12 10:40am]
