Had a friend who saw them & said they rocked the house!, and that some of the songs sounded way superior live.
And they played lots of classics like BLT, Perfect Kiss, True Faith, State Of The Nation, World In Motion, Shellshock etc.
Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

I was a bit afraid they might have got a bit too old to really kick it like they used to (not everyone has Prince's amazing longevity and energy on-stage...) and that Sumner's voice might have suffered especially with time. But then again, his singing was always a bit dirty, imperfect and vulnerable sounding and that's part of the New Order charme, so I guess I'll still witness quite a good show! | |
