Does Whitney (who's on the right holding Monica's hands) look troubled here? This was possibly from the same night where she had problems at the club.

Preach. The weave in the "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" was THE WORST. disbelief It wasn't until "I'm Your Baby Tonight" came out that she started looking more normal with those wigs.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Whitney know she loved some Monica and Brandy. Although she's been known to be very supportive of a lot of young singers, she seemed to have a special place in her heart for those two.

It's kind of sad seeing that footage because you can see how excited she was about life. Her gesturing "call me" to Monica before leaving. Freakin sad man sad mad

Okay, enough with that. I'm cool cool

It's heartbreaking to see. She looks like so many mothers, aunts, sisters, cousins, friends...whom we love dearly but they're just so "out there", we just smile, let them ramble, tell them we love them, promise we'll call or come see them and watch them walk away.

It isn't until after we realize that was the last time we'd see them alive, do we wish we'd have stopped and really immersed ourselves in that final moment. sigh

I hope Monica is doing ok. hug

Reading the threads on the Whitney boards about the leaked coffin pic and that Raffles leech is so depressing. You just come away wondering how those around Whitney (and MJ) would've allowed a known leech like this guy anywhere near them and then allow this clown an opportunity to snap a pic of Whitney in her coffin.

So much for the argument that having family around is the way to go. This leech seems to be totally in with Pat. On Whitney baords they seem to think he must be blackmailing the family or something.

Meet the Person Who Sold ...Ś [PHOTOS]

Mar, 16 2012 | Written by ATLien/Kcool
Meet Raffles van Exel, the man allegedly responsible for selling Whitney Houston’s casket photo to the National Enquirer.

Carolyn Whigham, the owner of the New Jersey funeral home that was given the task of handling Houston‘s funeral services, has always claimed to know the name of the guilty party and even held a press conference urging the family to reveal the information to the public.

Well that apparently never happened and Whigham Funeral Home is tired of taking all the flack!

Now they’re finally pointing the finger at the “close friend” of Whitney’s who profited from selling her death photo…

According to Forbes, Raffles van Exel, who also uses the aliases of Raffles Benson and Raffles Dawson, attended the two private viewings of Whitney’s casket held at the Whigham Funeral Home.

The first viewing was on February 17, 2012, the Friday night before the memorial service. The second one was on Sunday morning before the burial.

Staff at the funeral home say they noticed van Exel right away. While he’s not actually a member of the Houston family, he traveled with them on the private plane from Los Angeles to New Jersey for Whitney’s homegoing services.

van Exel was the only non-family member who accompanied Pat Houston in her car to Whitney’s memorial and funeral and to the viewings.

According to one source, he even had his own bodyguard with him, which was more than a little unusual.

A source from Whigham’s says when the picture appeared on the cover of the Enquirer, they told the Houstons of their suspicions.

“They didn’t do anything about it,” says a source. “They’re protecting him. How come they haven’t gotten him out of their circle?”

Houston fans felt it was the Funeral Home’s fault that the photo was taken and once while conducting another funeral, Carolyn Whigham says she was spat upon by a stranger.

“The Houston family invited everyone into that room. We had no role in that. We were told their security would handle everything. They didn’t give us responsibility for that.”

About 35 people came to the first viewing. The Wighams didn’t know everyone. But they know none of their people were involved. One of the funeral home employees says they witnessed Raffles van Exel take the picture of Whitney in her coffin.

The burial, by the way, did not include $500,000 worth of jewelry. “It was costume jewelry,” says the funeral director. “Please…”

Many news outlets have reached out to van Exel, who was also “friends” with Michael Jackson, and calls and emails to eliciting a response from him have gone unanswered. Forbes reporter Roger Friendman, states:

His voice mail box is full. He answered one of my emails, asking what I wanted, and then didn’t respond again. A second email was replied to, with a blank message.

Oddly enough, van Exel, who loves to rub elbows with famous folk, has been keeping a very low profile these days. And it’s not the first time he has gone underground.

Friendman also notes that van Exel had a run in with R&B singer George Benson (“Give Me the Night,” “Turn Your Love Around”) who says, his lawyer had to send van Exel a cease and desist letter warning him not use the name Benson or describe himself as Benson’s son.

One day, Benson says, van Exel called him and told him to come home; he thought there’d been a robbery.

When Benson returned to the house, he discovered $25,000 in cash was missing. He’d taken out of the bank to pay for home repairs. By the time he made the discovery, van Exel had vanished.

“We never saw him or heard from him again,” Benson recalls. Without tangible proof, he couldn’t press charges with the local police. van Exel, as I reported in my original story, has sometimes been sued under the name Raffles Benson.

Just shameful!

I wonder why Whitney’s loyal friend/sister in-law Pat Houston didn’t reveal this information during her Oprah interview or even to the press in general?

Could Pat have possibly profited from the sale of Whitney’s casket photo as well? Hmmm… makes you wonder about her silence.

Now that Raffles van Exel has been revealed as the seller, what’s next?

I love the "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" weave. It was a good look for her, but the hair hardly matters with a face that beautiful.

I agree. Raffles was around the Jacksons when Michael was alive and was around them after he died. George Benson was a victim of a robbery allegedly committed by Raffles, who had went around claiming George was his daddy and shit...

New Report: Bobbi Kristina Brown Is NOT Engaged To ‘Adopted’ Brother, Nick Gordon

By HL/Kcool

Whitney Houston’s daughter is just wearing her mom’s ring to remember her, not because she’s ready to walk down the aisle to Nicholas Gordon, her rep says. Do you believe this?

Bobbi Kristina Brown may be in love with the guy her mom, Whitney Houston, took into their home and raised like her own son — Nicholas Gordon — but she’s not engaged to him, as was previously speculated.

A rep for the 18-year-old daughter confirmed to People Bobbi Kristina hasn’t said “yes,” just yet, even though she’s sporting her mom’s 10-carat diamond ring on her left ring finger.

“She is just wearing her mom’s ring,” a source said.

We consulted with famed jeweler Neil Lane, he estimated the ring to be work a whopping $250,000.

Houston died from drowning, coroner says

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Whitney Houston was a chronic cocaine user who had the drug in her system when she drowned in a hotel bathtub, coroner's officials said Thursday after releasing autopsy findings that also noted heart disease contributed to her death.

The disclosure ended weeks of speculation about what killed the Grammy-winning singer on Feb. 11 on the eve of the Grammy Awards.

Houston was found submerged in the bathtub of her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, and her death was ruled accidental. Several bottles of prescription medications were found in her hotel room, but coroner's officials said there weren't excessive quantities.

"We are saddened to learn of the toxicology results, although we are glad to now have closure," Patricia Houston, the singer's sister-in-law and manager, wrote in a statement to The Associated Press.

Beverly Hills police said in a statement there was no evidence of wrongdoing in connection with Houston's death.

Coroner's Chief of Operations Craig Harvey said cocaine and its byproducts were found in Houston's system, and the drug was listed as a contributing factor in her death. He said the results indicated Houston was a chronic cocaine user.

Toxicology results also showed Houston had marijuana, Xanax, the muscle relaxant Flexeril, and the allergy medication Benadryl in her system. Houston died just hours before she was scheduled to appear at producer Clive Davis' pre-Grammy Awards bash.

The singer also had buildup of plaque in her arteries that can restrict blood flow. Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter said the condition is common in drug users, although he said it wasn't clear whether Houston had a heart attack on the day she died.

"It just beats up their heart and they will go to use and they will have a heart attack," he said.

The exact amount of cocaine in Houston's system was not disclosed Thursday but will be contained in a full autopsy report to be released in about two weeks, officials said.

Cocaine use has been known to cause damage to the heart and could have cause Houston's death, said Dr. Michael Fishbein, professor of pathology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He had no role in the investigation.

He said a likely scenario was that Houston's cocaine use interfered with the normal function of her heart.

"There's no reason to drown in a bathtub unless you're incapacitated," Fishbein said.

Family and friends said after Houston's death that they didn't believe she was still abusing drugs.

"I don't think drugs was an issue for her before her death. I don't know what happened that day," Patricia Houston said in a recent interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Houston, 48, was buried in a New Jersey cemetery next to her father after an emotional four-hour funeral service that was attended by friends, family and superstars such as Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson and Roberta Flack

Houston, a sensation from her first, eponymous album in 1985, was one of the world's best-selling artists from the mid-1980s to the late 1990s, turning out such hits as "I Wanna Dance With Somebody," ''How Will I Know," ''The Greatest Love of All" and "I Will Always Love You." But as she struggled with drugs, her majestic voice became raspy, and she couldn't hit the high notes.

Interest in her music skyrocketed after her death, pushing her songs back on to charts and into heavy rotation on the radio.

She influenced a generation of younger singers, from Christina Aguilera to Mariah Carey, but Houston's drug use derailed her career and took a heavy toll on her once pristine voice.

But by the end of her career, she was a stunning cautionary tale of the toll of drug use. Her album sales plummeted and the hits stopped coming. Her once serene image was shattered by a wild demeanor and bizarre public appearances. She confessed to abusing cocaine, marijuana and pills and was eventually unable to hit the high notes as she had during her prime.

"The biggest devil is me. I'm either my best friend or my worst enemy," Houston told ABC's Diane Sawyer in an infamous 2002 television interview with then-husband Bobby Brown by her side.

She had been attempting a comeback when she died. She had finished filming a remake of the movie "Sparkle" in which Houston sang the gospel hymn "His Eye is on the Sparrow." Producers of the film have said the singer was a complete professional on the set.

The same man that’s been labeled the culprit for leaking the photos to the National Enquirer of Whitney Houston in her casket, Raffles van Exel is in the midst of more photo scandal. It turns out this celebrity hanger-on is more scandalous that we were aware of. Here’s three scandals van Exel’s found himself in the center of.

1. Photos of Whitney Houston on a gurney, covered with a white sheet being taken out of the Beverly Hilton Hotel that were sold to TMZ, turned out to be photos of Bobbi Kristina on a gurney covered in white sheets so that she wouldn’t be seen. Van Exel was the only person who would have had that type of access to snap the shot. The only other people around close family and Kristen Foster (Whitney’s publicist).

2. TMZ also posted photos of Whitney’s food tray, bathtub and food cart that are said to be taken by van Exel. Forbes is reporting that only three people had access at that point–Patricia Houston (Whitney’s manager and sister-in-law), Gary Houston (Whitney’s brother) and van Exel, who is a friend of Patricia.

3. Whitney’s not the first celebrity that van Exel’s attached himself to. In the past, he’s claimed to be Chaka Khan’s manager, has a connection to sketchy celeb O.J. Simpson and the con artist even labels himself George Benson’s son. Benson has since served van Exel with a cease and desist from using the Benson name.

In case you doubt that van Exel is a celebrity stalking creep, check out his instructional video on “The Art of the Con.” Watch it below.

Supposedly this guy also ran in Michael Jackson's inner circle too confused
