Plus Ike always had to have backup... for years Tina had been his backup. Tina was the one who would tell Ike to get the gun when people were trying to fuck with them... James and Chuck look more like they'd be protectors.

Chuck Berry is no joke.

I'll tell you how badass all three were in order:

1.) James Brown - just him flashing fingers as fines in your face is enough for him to be scary. Money is scary when someone fines you for going off on the wrong note!

2.) Chuck Berry - just his ice cold glare will make you shit your pants

3.) Ike Turner - was like all three of them and like James, would show fear by guns (pistol-whipping was one of his hobbies), also would fine you for wrong notes and shit (before he got all high on that cocaine). I would think his bad-ass reputation would be much more because he hung around with pimps, drug dealers, prostitutes, etc.
