Every time this song comes up, I feel compelled to express my love for it. Everything about it is hilariously awesome! Seriously, it's catchy, MJ sounds great, and then there's the video... I will never forget when it premiered. I almost died laughing when the Boys Choir of Harlem started dancing around them! The director is a freaking genius.

FWIW, this beats out "Put Your Mouth on Me" and "Party All the Time" as my favorite Eddie song.

Harmless fun. Not great but not terrible in my opinion.

I like it better than Party All The Time too I think.

Fun song.

Best part is the "Thieves In The Temple" sample in the beginning.

No, I'm not kidding. Always loved the video and always will...

It's just good fun. Every squiggle, every goofy move by Eddie and MJ, etc. It never fails to elicit a laugh or a smile; how could that possibly be bad?

Wow - this thread has blown up since I was last here.

I agree with you one hunnit percent, Alexa:

I think people who imagine this video as so godawful miss the point entirely

that you so astutely raise: MJ and Eddie were just hanging out and acting up for

the cameras. I don't think either one of them were taking themselves too seriously.

I still think that most of the people who are put off by this song/video have that

reaction because it is the prevailing attitude towards Whatzupwitu and not the

outcome of their own personal understanding.
