Former Barkays trumpeter Charles Scoop Allen sadly passed away

yesterday. The Barkays had it posted on their facebook page.

Scoop played with the Barkays from the early Stax days in the 70's

up until 1983. RIP Scoop

Yes like Timmy stated Ben Cauley is alive. Scoop replaced Ben

in the band. Ben Cauley was in the movie Soul Men with Isaac

Hayes, Bernie Mac, and Samuel Jackson.

Used to love the back of this album cover,RIP.
