Radical changes in your musical taste

Artists and music styles that you loved (liked) before and hate (dislike) now, and vice versa.

I disliked pop music of a certain period of time and did not take any pop artist seriously .... Now I like a few pop artists and a lot of pop songs.

Your call .... cool

The style I had little time for 20 years ago is now probably my favourite. I don't think it fits in one category, but its sort of folk / blues / pop / acoustic.

Think

Jack Johnson

Damien Rice

Ed Sheeran

Joe Purdy

Laura Marling

Amy McDonald

I used to like hip-hop/rap (growing up in NY I couldn't escape it). Now I have zero interest whatsoever unless its presented in unconventional formats or its foreign (e.g. Marcelo D2, MC Solaar, Lapiz Conciente, Mozart la Para, Sensato etc).

Change it one more time..

It is never a "radical" change for me, its more of a gradual shift.

The foundation of my musical interest always remains set in stone, I just happen to venture into different areas that contain these elements.

You're so glam, every time I see you I wanna slam!

I used to only listen to dance and r&b music. Then, in late 2009, I got interested in a bunch of older rock artists, including U2, The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Nirvana, Hanson and Radiohead.. and now I listen mostly to rock music. Though I still like a few dance and r&b artists (MJ, Janet, Prince, Madonna, etc.), outside of those few favorites, I rarely listen to dance or r&b anymore..

Yes, my favorite music, about 80% of what I usually listen to. smile
This is a constant, I don.t think it ever will change.
