Nas- Rule Or If I Ruled The World
Which song do you guys think is better? although IIRTW has my girl Lauryn on it.... the lyrics on Rule are just fantastic imo. And i really like how they used the Tears For Fears sample Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

When that entire Jay-Z VS Nas debate was going on... well for awhile i said Jay-Z. Used to love almost all his albums & with Nas only cared for Illmatic. Now that i am older it's opposite.. i onyl dig 3 Jay albums & now i adore Stillmatic, I Am, Hip Hop Is Dead & It Was Written.
I think Nas is miles ahead of Jay, even if Jay is getting more hits. Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

I do
My guess it didn't really get it's props back then because it was overshadowed by Jay-Z's "Blueprint". It was a much better album than his previous releases.

Always have loved Nas. One of the best out there. I'd Probably say If I Ruled The World, and not just because it has Lauryn Hill on it.

Love Stillmatic. Love 2nd Childhood, you're the man, the whole album. The Stillmatic intro sets this album off nicely. wwww.myspace.com/chessvalentine
