I put on this album a few days ago and was blown away. I normally get Will's albums as they are released{as I'm a big fan of his}. But I never put this Cd on my list of CDs to get when it first came out in 98'. A big mistake{ I recently picked it up}. This CD is MAJOR stellar. The first two songs on this CD is worth the price of admission alone. The title song "Pleasure Of The Night" and "Nearness Of You" are just beautiful and smooth. Gerald Albright even has a few good solo spots on this album. It kinda falls into the smooth jazz avenue of things, but they are some pretty interesting traditional jazz stuff going on here too{especially on the slow numbers}. This may be my favorite Will Downing record. Sorry that I waited THIS long before putting down the purchase on this one. If you don't have it...get it.

Fellas this is SURELY one to put on when you want to set the mood right for you and your woman.

Will is so smooth..if you look up the word smooth, you'd probably see a darn picture of him by the word.
