 Terrified that her fragile career could shatter completely, LISA MARIE PRESLEY has been suffering horrific stage jitters that threaten to derail her upcoming tour. Elvis’ 44-year-old daughter is set to release her third album, “Storm & Grace,” on May 1 and promote it with a concert tour. But Lisa Marie, who’s struggled for years to follow in her legendary father’s footsteps, is worried that this is her last shot at the big-time, say insiders. “Lisa Marie’s frightened stiff of taking her live tour on the road,” a close source told The ENQUIRER. “She’s worked on her new album for four years but is having difficulty coming to grips with performing again. “The anxiety over singing in front of big crowds is giving her panic attacks.” Lisa Marie hasn’t performed in front of large audiences since touring for her second album “Now What” in 2006. “Since then she’s battled weight problems, given birth to twin daughters and had trouble deciding where to live, the UK or L.A.,” said the source. More than a decade ago, Lisa Marie also wrestled with a variety of physical problems including mercury poisoning from tooth fillings, allergies, stress and the removal of her gallbladder. “I went through hell,” she said in a 2003 interview. Added the close source: “She was sick throughout her first tour in 2003 and 2004, then suffered terrible stage fright on the ‘Now What Tour.’ “She feels this is her final chance at a musical career. She’s only had middling success and believes this is a do-or-die situation.” Fortunately, Lisa Marie is expected to have her husband, guitarist Michael Lockwood, her twin daughters, Harper and Finley, now 3, and 19-year-old son Ben along for support. “But Lisa’s questioning herself like never before,” said the source. “She feels her tours are cursed, and the idea of being onstage is almost too much for her.” http://www.nationalenquir...w-or-never
I know its a tabloid but i remember some of my friends and i went to her second tour a few years ago and she was very shaky during the first half but Good luck with the new project | |

Well, maybe she should:
1.) release more albums 2.) don't allow a large amount of time to go between them 3.) make better albums that people will want to support 4.) practice more, perhaps in front of a mirror or an audience of stuffed animals 5.) play smaller venues and not have the pressure of "large audiences" 6.) get professional help to assist with anxiety and stresses in her life 7.) stop putting pressure on herself 8.) think of doing other things she is better at or more comfortable doing 9.) surround herself with sexy dancers to distract the audience 10.) not tour

Lisa always had musical aspirations going back to the early 1990s but it's said that her father's legacy and stage fright were reasons she held back on it. So no surprise she still is struggling with trying to make her own mark. She's gonna always be reminded of her daddy no matter what she does. | |

I still listen to her 2003 album. 'To Whom It May Concern.' 'The Road Between' is a favorite of mine. That's been in rotation since 2003. I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think. | |

I have no clue, does she write? play? and if so then give them to people who dont have problem to perform.

i think as in becoming her own identity as an artist, its a make it or break it for her. I remember in an interview she said something to extent that she never felt like she did anything worthy besides being elvis's daughter | |
