Kylie announces her "anti tour": cool!

The Aphrodite era is over, and Kylie has just announced her "Anti Tour": A series of shows which will focus on b-sides, demos and rarities to celebrate her 25th anniversary in the business.

From kylie.com:
Sunday 18th March 2012 The Palace, 20-30 Bourke St., Melbourne Tuesday 20th March 2012 The Big Top, Luna Park, SydneySmall, intimate, unexpected. A unique experience, for super fans only. Kylie and her band performing those songs you thought you’d never hear live! The flipside to a huge “Kylie production”, a once in a lifetime chance and a night to remember. Tickets on sale NOON Wednesday 7 March (Sydney time) via kylie.com and frontiertouring.com/kylie.Numbers are strictly limited. These shows will sell out.

She also just performed at the Sydney Mardi Gras:

K25 AT THE SYDNEY MARDI GRAS The Sydney Mardi Gras went K25 crazy on the weekend with a specially commissioned K25 float. The float, one of 134 that spanned 5km, involved 130 volunteer performers, as well as an army of designers, costumiers and production staff.Led by a chariot embellished with CDs to honour Kylie’s 25 years as a recording artist, the procession was composed of three segments each representing a period of Kylie’s career. Each segment was led by a Faberge egg-inspired pushable float, adorned with Swarovski Elements crystals. As the K25 section reached Taylor Square (the halfway point of the Parade), the Parade stopped and the cast performed a surprise choreographed production number to “Love at First Sight” for Kylie. After the performance, Kylie came down onto the Parade route and thanked the cast and crowd.Mardigrasland, the Mardi Gras Party for 2012, was a total sellout, with over 16,000 attending. Kylie’s performance, a 20 minute medley of some of her best-loved hits, was watched by a capacity crowd inside the Royal Hall of Industries, and was beamed live to outdoor screens around the Party precinct so nobody missed out.

Man if more artist, are you listening Pet Shop Boys, announced tours with b side only material fans would be crapping themselves in anticipation.

Smart move from an artist who truly loves her fans. Not like that money whore Vadge.

I'm confused...

Finer Feelings and On a Night Like This are not Demos, B-Sides or Rarities, they are singles and famous album tracks

I guess the tour will concentrate on the "Rarities" then, aka new mixes-acoustic versions, which sounds like a bad idea...

not excited

of course, if she plays Giving You Up and Made of Glass, then damn, those are worth the price of admission...

The videos I posted have nothing to do with the tour. She is releasing an acoustic performance of a single each month this year to commemorate her 25th year in music.
