But the involvement they do takes over basically. A lot of Janet's songs during the Velvet Rope era were by her but with small changes from Jimmy and Terry

None of them wrote at least a handful of songs on their own ...
I love Amy Lee, for example, but she wrote only 5 songs without the co-authors, so I did not include Amy in the list.

How can it be regarded as a great songwriter someone who is not able to write at least a dozen songs without help??? It may be good songwriter, but obviously not great ...
Hell, even Mariah Carrey is more productive songwriter.
