But the involvement they do takes over basically. A lot of Janet's songs during the Velvet Rope era were by her but with small changes from Jimmy and Terry

Sorry, but none of these singers do not meet the criteria ... smile
None of them wrote at least a handful of songs on their own ...
I love Amy Lee, for example, but she wrote only 5 songs without the co-authors, so I did not include Amy in the list.

How can it be regarded as a great songwriter someone who is not able to write at least a dozen songs without help??? eek It may be good songwriter, but obviously not great ...
Hell, even Mariah Carrey is more productive songwriter. lol

True but I'm sure I'm not the only one who believes her best songs weren't written mainly by her

Is Cуndi a full-fledged author?
I do not know any song that she wrote herself, without help from other authors, for example, Jan Pulsford. wink

Good question. Anyone know? I know she does a lot of co-writting but assumed her last album of originals (Bring Ya To The Bring) was a solo project. I could be wrong.

I looked at Wikipedia
The only songs that she wrote on their own - Kindred Spirit and Fearless
