Chris Brown's New Album, Fortune (May 8th)

March 1, 2012

Link

Chris Brown is stepping out in a retro-inspired look on his new album cover. For his fifth studio album itled, Fortune, Brown dons a sleek, slim-fitting suit paired with a skinny tie and thick black framed glasses for the cover art. He stands underneath a bright light shining down on him with the word “Fortune” collaged behind him in different languages.

The image is courtesy of photographers Steven Gomillion and Dennis Leupold, who have also worked with artists such as Ciara, Keri Hilson, and Cassie.

The album is due in stores May 8th.

The first single is more of the same Euro-pop sound. It's getting harder to distinguish his songs from one another.

I agree. This sounds almost identical to Beautiful People to me.

All he needs is a dunce cap on his head. He looks like a child that's been sent to time out on the cover. lol

That's funny because I first thought of that "Yeah" song he had out not long ago.

After thorough listening, I've concluded that they're all the same song!

That "Turn Up The Music" song is very good. It includes a great sample. Nonetheless, as usual, I like some of his music, but still find nothing alluring, cool or interesting about him as a person or image. confused

with chris being a dancer i think his focusing on the dance sharts and give us some hard hitting dance videos would really put him a good place.he is a great dancer this euro sound can work for him but know how to pick singles and make em work.fame had some good songs on it but he didnt work hard enough to get it out there wit the right video all my love could of really blew up and say it with me. he need new managers and pr people they arent doing him any justice he is a great artist damn the bad boy image

Well to be honest, before all the drama, when he was regarded as the golden innocent boy, I didn't even like his music back then and felt it was cheesy. shrug After the drama, I was rooting for him to turn his life around, and earn respect back, but these days it hard because he can't keep his damn mouth shut. The only song I've really liked from him to be honest was "Deuces". I think he's a good dancer but he doesn't really do anything original that makes me feel like I want to admire him. Again, shrug

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Chris' webisode series is a documentary of his road to creating and completing his forthcoming fifth studio album Fortune.

gotta agree. I'm getting a bit sick of the four on the floor electro thing. It also dosen't help that when they release these techno pop singles they still treat them like they're ground breaking. On a side note, even if you're going for a club dance trk, can we get a little more creative with the lyrics?

Most things that I worry about, never happen anyway
