Can't believe that book got greenlit in the 1st place.

What woman is gonna take advice from someone who's been divorced so many times?

And how can I take advantage of that woman?

Actually that's not what the book is about. The book tells women (from a man's perspective) how to see through a man's bullshit (which the author himself was once good at dishing out), and demand more for themselves and for their relationships- and to stop opening your legs and being a doormat for every Tom, Dick, and Harry out there.

It comes more from a relationship POV that "like attracts like", so if you want to be in a healthy relationship with purpose, then everyone in the relationship has to be that on their own first. As for being divorced, I don't think it's a crime to be divorced twice hmm I know plenty of people (myslef included) who married young, and had no idea how idea what the marriage covenant meant or how to healthily function within one, and they made mistakes. Now, some 20 years later, my follies and viewpoints are not the same as when I was young and running around acting crazy, and life has grown me up quite a bit. I'm at a season of life with a deeper understanding and appreciation for certain aspects of life that I didn't have before.

Oddly enough I was just orgnoting with someone recently and we talked about balance and maturity: one of the things about being balanced and acting like you have some sense is that life being as it is, it will often take a person quite a few years to get there and it akes a lot of effort. That's true for many people, I don't see why Steve Harvey should be any different. It would appear (from his testimony) that life has given him a good smacking and humbling here and there, and his POV and ways of living have simply changed in comparison to years ago. It wouldn't be the first person it's ever happened to... butterfly

That's basically what I got from the book too. It describes how many men approach relationships and the various games that men run on women and how to avoid getting gamed if a woman wants a solid relationship with a guy as opposed to just kickin' it.

The tone is conversational rather than authoritative, but also very "old skool", which a lot of folks have problems with, lol Being a comedian, there is a humourous take on some of his descriptions too

It's the kind of conversation an old playa would have with his daughter.

Think Like A Man Sountrack

March 4, 2012

Epic Records is set to release the official soundtrack album inspired by the upcoming romantic comedy Think Like a Man.

The special disc hits shelves on April 10, and includes the title song, "Think Like Man," the lead single featuring a Rick Ross-assisted duet from Jennifer Hudson and Ne-Yo.

Director Chris Robinson crafted the video for the track. The clip includes a cameo from one of the movie's leading men, Kevin Hart, who brings some of his signature humor to the new visual.

The Think Like a Man soundtrack also includes the John Legend single "Tonight," featuring Ludacris. A video for that sultry track is slated to debut on March 7.

Also among the new disc's featured artists are Kelly Rowland and newly signed Epic Records singer Marcus Canty, who will debut his song "Won't Make a Fool Out of You" on the Think Like a Man music release. Canty -- who is an alum ofThe X Factor -- is expected to release his new single to radio on March 12.

Who produced this? This style of production is so overdone. Jennifer Hudson already has 5 or 6 songs that sound just like this and so does everybody else.

loving this song! I think Jennifer and Ne-Yo complement each other nicely. I hope it becomes a hit. Currently it's a top 40 r&b song and just in the 90s on the hot 100 chart...

I love seeing Jennifer so confident and sexy these days biggrin
