Late-80s R&B slow jam: "Never 2 Much Of U" by Dino (1989) I remember in 1990,buying his cassette mainly for this song  I liked the other hits too,but this was the song that sealed the deal for me....

Yup. "24/7" is the one people seem to remember most, but "Never 2 Much Of U" was on many a mixtape I made back then, lol.
The intro sax line; simpler, but still seems to me kind of a mini- "Careless Whisper".

Nice post Soul.  Blast from the past.... this was my favorite cut from Dino's 24/7 album too.
 nicely arranged song.
