Laurn Hill is the BEST female MC of all time. If not the best easiy top 3. Lyrically and execution thats WHY.

Erykah can exactly rap to but she doesnt do alot of it on her songs.

She does more rapping in a live setting.

At least the gigs I have been to/heard.

I know...The show I saw she didnt rap, she beat box

Hell yeah. Especially since I can rock Baduizm straight through unlike "Miseducation".

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I leaned towards Lauryn because of the stronger vocals, but Baduizm has the best music and songs. Then again, Nothing Even Matters with D'Angelo, & Sweetest Thing just get to me everytime.

Baduizm, if I had to choose one.

I was listening to I Gotta Have Peace of Mind with some friends on a road trip. I was really into the song, but they started laughing. I didn't think it was a funny song, but maybe because of their sense of humor or they are dudes, but I began to see their point. She's definitely having a moment on that song, she's either discovering God at that point or just losing it or both.
