Love it! Even though I liked the work she did with Timbo & Missy. I felt The R was the best producer for that brought out her sultry vocals. Plus it didn't hurt that they were having a torrid love affair...  will ALWAYS think of  like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. |

Probably because he wrote the song and was more than likely trying to get in her pants at the time.
I have a damn near impossible time not associating the two in my mind after I found out about that. Before that though I loved the song; now it just makes me uncomfortable.
And I don't say that to slag off Aaliyah in any way shape or form. I adored her and wanted to be her at one point and cried when she died.
