and WYWH. i got a fucking amazing floyd collection. all the official stuff, including all the solo stuff, even the really shitty stuff, and a fucking massive collection of boot audio and video, inc floyd aftershow parties, rehearsals, outtakes, soundchecks, you name it. there is a bootleg label called harvested that is like the prince free boot labels with steriods. those guys are spread across the world and have access to all sorts of pro equipment and contacts with all sorts of people. there are obviously more bootleg labels and a bunch of cool fan boots with the same care to detail as the prince ones. i got a video of pink floyd rehearsing at earls court for the wall tour in 1980 for example, and both a london and nyc pro shot wall gigs. rehearsals on audio and video for rogers wall at berlin, the first gilmour live show ever in dublin, rare as shit syd barrett stuff, pre floyd stuff
but there is a lack of soundboard and pro shot floyd stuff, they just didn't bother recording shows like prince did, which was a shame. some of the early eclipse performances of DSOTM were pretty cool and rough. it was nice to finally get the early live version of animals from the 74 winter tour on sounboard after all those years

Sounds like you have quite the hookup. I have to get WUWH deluxe next. The cool thing aboout the DSOTM live disc is it was performed before the release of the DSOTM album. They were that jazzed about the material they had recorded. So it was kind of new to the audience. "Climb in my fur."

the live version of DSOTM is from the 74 tour, the album was released in 73. they have bits of earlier versions, but not the full "eclipse" live, which is what the album was originally called. animals live is from the same show in 74 which was 3 years before the album came out. radiohead similarly performed both the bends and ok computer months before release
