Why are people so fixated with age when it comes to women?

I don't think its age as much as acting ones.

Good idea. Execution failed, though. I'm all for a good joke. This didn't deliver.

Just more fuel on Madonna's publicity fire. She should send a quarter and a xerox thank you note with a laughing smiley on it to everybody who thinks that they are witty enough to be the one to finally hates her away. So many have tried, but all of them failed.

Is what Madonna's attempting any different than this? A legendary star trying to connect over a generation after the prime of her stardom (as opposed to her ARTISTIC prime, MadgeFans)???

How can you parody something that's already a parody? The original video is very tongue in check and ironic. Madonna's already laughing at herself in the video. To me a parody only works when you are parodying someone or something that taking itself seriously and making a joke out of it. The original video is already humorous so you can't really parody it and expect it to work.
