Raphel Sadiqq

You remember the crazy little guy from Toni, Tony, Tonie? He song most leads and I always could hear a Prince influence in his music, Well anyways
Raphel Sadiqq is on his own now and has been on his own for while now. He wrote and produced D'angelo infamous track how does it feel. Raphel Sadiqq is another artist who I think has the potential of going in far places. I mean he's talented to death, can write music like I don't know what and if you ask me I think he's kind of a sexy dude nod In my opinnon I think that Raphel Sadiqq is one of those artist who's ahead of his time. If you listen to his last album you can hear that's he's brining things that are completely orginal and creative, however. It's all new and like I've said many times, when a artist brings forth somethig new, it doesn't catch on to alot of people who might not be familiar with the material. Raphel Sadiqq has classfield his music as Gospel Physcadelic ... There's not even a catergorey for that in the record store, so if people can't recognize what the sound is,then chances are it will succeed in the mainstream, once again this is sad, but true. I would recomended This album to anybody who's a music lover such as I am. I think it is a underated classic. Take note that Raphel Sadiqq prodcued the album and wrote most of the tracks on there...

I'm glad he won at least one Grammy for songwriting with other writers on Erykah Badu feat. Common's "Love of My Life: Ode to Hip Hop: "

Am I the only one, or was anybody else bummed that R&B wasn't included in the televised portion of the Grammy?

Whitest grammys ever! I mean how many white folks with acoustic guitars can one show stand. And the one white dude I wanted to see (Remy Shand) was totally shut out. The Grammys usually suck but that was the worst ever.

They finally got it right and gave a couple of them to India.Arie and of course it's not televised as well. I really wanted to see her too. She has a natural now. Her dreads are gone. That was prolly my only shocker related to the Grammys, and I had to go on Yahoo to see that.

I Prefer Him in a Band Setting personally.Solo He has some alright things But He seems more of a Writer&Producer than a Artist Outright Per se for me.

RS is a real Oak-Town talent & its a great feeling seeing all his changes from the late 80's with TTT & now as a solo artist growing into a real music pro. His 5 Grammy nods were well earned. (one Grammy win is better then none)

He's a grounded artist that has the old skool blood flowing through him. Singer song writer producer, as well as playing piano, base, gutar & drums. If U seen his studio, U know this is a brotha who takes music serious & one who loves his craft.Easy 2 see why Prince took 2 these young men when they were doing it as TTT. RS who loves Prince was apart of Miss E's backing band many years ago.

He's come along way from the dayz seeing him with TTT rolling around Oakland or chillin at Cleo's. I recall trying 2 get my sister who sings hooked up with D. Wiggins. The nice guy he was heard me out. At that time he was lookin 2 do new music projects. These guys were really just everyday people who U could strike a convo with.

RS first solo project is a solid gem. I look forward 2 hearing more from him as well as the acts hes connected 2. Hoping he will take his act out on the road sometime this Summer. It would B since I think "89" seeing him take the stage. Any cat who has a old vintage Sly & The Family Stone gig promotion poster in his studio from back in the day U gotta luv*
