Prince's friend and Beautiful-Jazz artist Esperanza Spalding gave one Beautiful and haunting rendition of "What a wonderful world" @ The Oscars.....Her voice was crystal-clear and perfect...I wanna see more from this Sista..

I've seen her performances on TV but it felt like I was seeing her for the First time when she sang that song...

YES YES YES she's always amazing and the only singer at the Oscars.

So why is the Mainstream Media/Music Lovers/Critics Hyping up Adel and ran after Esperanza with a Pitch-Fork when she beat out Bubble-Gum-Bieber for "Best new Artists"?

Esperanza's voice should be Celebrated and yet people still don't know who she is...

I DVR'd the show and Fast-forward through it...But I thought it was odd that ONLY 2 songs got nominations and only 1 singer was allowed in the building...

I thought Mary J'.s "The Help" single would make the category of 5..but the category was cut all the way down to 2 songs...What was that all about?

I was SHOCKED but Thrilled to see Sheila E. Directing the Music from the balcony...She did great...
