EXTREME Amazing Musicians

Sometimes the MOST HIDDEN TREASURE is found when one or many COME together as one.

From the CD "pornograffiti which is a play off of" WAKE UP america...We tryin to tell U "your going down the WRONG ROAD" with great musicianship...

NUNO BETTERNCOURT
"flight of the bumblebee" is a great absolute wonderful play of showing HIDDEN TALENT...Wonder if...U know who would ever think of doing something with this man...he is a youngin.

GARY SHARONE...great vocalist and dancer (this man can fly)...amazing live.

The entire BAND had, has, does, have something U dont normally hear, see or get to taste...

WELL thats enuff for now...
GET XTREME <<WAKE UP AMERICA...not all has 2 b crude.

*o)
SingMia
rose reading Spring is coming TIME TO SPRING UP...

FOR THOSE WHO WILL HEAR THIS IS A HIGHLY CONTROVERSIAL CD...SO dont get offended if your mind tricks ya in2 thinkn it is something when it might B the other.

also PLEASE NOTE Nuno Bettencourt's interests in his STYLE OF MUSIC from his lips:

Musical Influences: Queen/Brian May, Prince, Jimmy Page, his brother Luis

ALSO LISTEN TO THE SONG "WHEN I FIRST KISSED YOU"...

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL JAZZY performing song...on the same CD.
Flight of the Bumblebee and WHEN I FIRST KISSED YOU.

THE CD is called PORNOGRAFFITI

U can do a search on GOOGLE and find it. or go to the CD store near you and ask them to enter into their computer:

EXTREME (band)
PORNOGRAFFITI (CD)

P.S. THE CD is ment to wake people up to what is goin on...or what AMERICA was getting her self n2 in a serious way...

THE harmonies are very very very interesting...and the chord changes throughout the CD are very very STAND UP AND noticing...

Now this is 80's so dont think its 2day's candy; however, some youngins might learn what CLASSICAL and NOW can B like ...

Thank u.

Thanks for the help! The 80s have always been my favorite decade anyway. I also really like listening to music that has something to say. Have you heard "They Say Vision" by RES? That song has had me thinking a lot recently about what it means to come from a different perspective than the norm.

"I wanna try the pill that people take..." etc.

Who said that music couldn't teach?

I just realized the title of the thread refers to the band Extreme, not amazing musicians who are extreme, per se. Must be the multilinear models class I'm taking.

Yeah, I just realized that the thread is about the band Extreme- that "extreme" was not used as a descriptive adjective. I dreamt about my MATH 6020 class all night though, so my brain is pretty foggy. biggrin

yeah, like the time I seen them live, Nuno slips on the stage, falls on his knee, his hands come away from the guitar for a few seconds, but the riff continues, very interesting!!!

Cherone was in Van Halen for one album and they made him sound awful. It was simply not the guy who was in Extreme, god knows what went wrong but it was a mess.

Honey and IN GOD WE TRUST is a very good song, in fact the entire cd is very very GOOD

ALSO XTREME has a TWO SET CD called EXTREME III
IT HAS GREAT SONGS ON THE CD II...
VERY AMBIENT VERY HARMONIOUS AND VERY CLEVER...
Your Welcome. IT IS THE FINAL ONE THEY DID...

Ya never know what JULIARD does with young people...
BUT BOSTON truly has some serious talent

THANK U.

PS Nuno is from Portugal...and landed in BOSTON...
Not sure about whats up currently but sometimes people change roads and then...rebound 2 GLORY...finally going where no man has gone before...

Somebody else is doing that 2...I guess U could say his name is PRN...or NPR not sure which presently but its a nice mirror to peek at.

With LOVE (rowdiness) and GRACE

I definitely agree that Prince is peaking again. Just seeing him in concert is enough for me to see that glow in his eyes. He definitely has found new inspiration and it is evident in his musical output.

Funny little tidbit: When I was first learning to drive, Prince's initials helped me remember the order of the gears. As the top is park, then reverse, then neutral and then drive, I used to think, you need to pop in the PRN (Prince music) before you can start to drive.
