I don't think a lot of people know her story or what really happened with her time with Prince...... it makes for a good story that needs to be told.

I knew she been through hard times like her lungs collapsing. But Sheila was very successful in the entertainment industry b 4 Prince made her a sex symbol and superstar.......

eye will ALWAYS think of prince like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. eye mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that prince wasn't of this earth, eye would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. prince

Exactly, YOU know that but my Grandma doesn't and I'm sure most of the viewers watching don't. That is why this show is beneficial because it shows the world that there was more to Sheila than Glamourous Life. falloff

Do I think the statement is true? No. I do know from what my cousin Reena says that P was not always loved in the black community back in his hey day, but I never felt old boy had issues with his race.

Of course without knowing him personally, I've never felt Prince has had an issue with being Black either. Moreover, how would you even qualify a statement that says he's only Black when it's convenient? Like, what would being Black when it's not convenient look or sound like? It almost seems like Alexander would be saying that Black people are supposed to come across in a particular way. Not trying to defend Prince (whatever opinion people may have of him doesn't change mine), it's just that I don't understand the allegation. I would more quickly get the impression that it's Alexander that has the race issue, and not Prince.

I agree. I've never seen anything that has made me think Prince ever had an issue with being black. I just don't believe it. I think as you said Alexander is the one with the race issues and is projecting his own insecurities about that onto Prince.
