Acoustic Guitar Magazine did a wonderful write up about Mr. Powell when he passed. I recall the article mentioned in Powell's latter years holding/playing a guitar was painful.... a consequence of holding his guitar against his ribs... his rib bones had been worn down on his right side. | |

Interesting. I've heard of musicians getting arthritis or corpal tunnel from playing, but not rib degeneration.
