As much as I don't like it, it ain't like these folks are lying anyway. Whitney getting high before BBBB (Bad Boy Bobby Brown) is something that is now commonplace even before she knocked on Heaven's door...

But its like what gives her the right though to out people? Was she doing it w/ her or just heard. Tell that too as well. And this aint just about Whit or Jenny, its just getting tacky. Whatever Whitney did she didn't glorify it our put it on display, she knew folks were looking up to her & she had a family. It wasn't obvious for the longest so why keep rehashing it? Why not wait awhile,the woman had been gone for 2 minutes than they dig up your thirsty behind to tell tales...

I know but where is the respect & empathy. We used to have that. You think we didn't know about Marvin(or Elvis) for example BUT we didn't put him on blast and there was a waiting period lol. We dont need to know everything, especially ish thats not on display(caught doing). Whats the point?! Especially when you have those rare figures why HELP dirtying up their legacies.

It's crazy. people praised Jennifer and Chaka for telling the truth and now they wanna bash Jennifer because she told the truth about Whitney.. Jennifer was asked a question point blank and she said " I hate to say it but Whitney's dealing with drugs started before Bobby came in the picture"

It was a diffrent time when those Legends died

I aint mad at Chaka(the party was for all to see/obvious), but I'm not changing my views on Jenny. She knows the game IF you didn't really wanna go there than ya wouldn't have. I've learned that in my journalist work. There is a way to say things if you are gonna say them. Also dont forget to mention if you were there doing it too or just heard it. I know folks talk especially on folks they are jealous of.

Everybody has their own demons to deal with...... I'm not gonna berate Whitney for what she did with her own life and the same applies to Michael Jackson and any other celebrity. But I will drag you if your music wasn't up to par with your hype. Let's keep it on the MUSIC and let these artists live their personal lives in peace.

Jennifer is mad that Whitney shitted all over her poor career. She should have diversified and maximized her moment in the spotlight instead of just clinging onto Dreamgirls. I was never a fan to begin with. I never realized that the 80's had so many loud, fat women trying to make it with NO CLUE of an artistic vision.

I just don't see the diffrence in what Chaka said vs Jenny Holiday said..

The questioned put to both of them was Do You Think Bobby Is responsible for Whitney's Drug use

Chaka said " If it wasnt Bobby. It would have been some other dude"

Jenny said " It started before Bobby"

I really don't see anything wrong with what either one of them said

I just dont believe everything. I've seen women more known than Jenny make up stories & down their peers when they're not looking for various reasons. I'm like really, wow! Than turns out it didn't go down or not quite how they said. Alot of it is just cattiness,jealousy & simple ish!

^^The principle is the bigger issue, its more than just Whit or so & so did this. Its how its done. BTW, I wasn't aware of THAT Chaka quote but its still kinda different/slicker. How & when you say things matter.

I'm still wondering what Jennifer said differently from Chaka. Chaka actually revealed more talking about how she, Whitney and Bobby got high in a Miami hotel...

She said that on TV wow?! But she was an eyewitness/co pilot ! She also had the same intensity with Clive Davis and other issues which I heard. I respect that more...although I personally wouldn't have said the former to CNN but thats me.

That's why I said what was so different lol Jennifer didn't even reveal that much. She was doing drugs too. To me Chaka kept it 100.

Again I dont agree with it 100% but like I said she was THERE, she was a co-pilot and she also went IN on all, not just the singer but the bosses as well!

So to me it was more viable & human. Although again I wouldn't have said what they did, Chaka atleast didn't remove herself from that(co pilot), she SAW it(was there) and she didn't just go IN on her sister(Clive,the biz,herself,etc got it too). Plus Chaka was gonna be asked to be on b/c they have history but Jenny...so random.

So you didn't see the interview of Chaka and Jennifer on CNN when Piers asked both of them

I think you should watch it and maybe you'll have a diffrent take on what Jennifer said because like Timmy said Chaka kept it 100 but neither Chaka or Jenny came off like they were dragging her through the dirt. What I got from Jennifer's interview is that back when she was doing Dreamgirls

they partied in the same circle and she said that drugs were around and had it not been for the fact that she had to sing 2 shows a day 6 days a week she could have got caught up in that lifestyle.

I saw some of Chaka's interview and parts of Jenny's! I've seen all but their's fully. Anyhow I still wont be 100% on any of it but Chaka I feel was alittle better in what she said.

Aretha Franklin sent her love to Cissy Houston with flowers on Tuesday, the same day a source close to the family said the Queen of Soul was “devastated” that she missed Whitney Houston’s funeral.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Daily News’ Jennifer H. Cunningham reported that a delivery man from Floralies Inc. dropped off a very large arrangement of white roses, lilies, tulips and other flowers for the mom of the late pop diva, who was buried on Sunday.

The note with the arrangement that was sent to Cissy read simply, “Love, Aretha.”

The delivery follows our report Monday that Franklin missed Houston’s funeral on Sunday because she’d angered Cissy with comments about Whitney in a “Today” show interview that had aired Friday.

On Tuesday, a source close to Houston’s family told the Daily News’ Nancy Dillon that Franklin had still not recovered from leg spasms she cited as the reason for missing the Newark service.

“Aretha was devastated she missed the service,” says the source, who noted that the “Respect” singer saw it “live and was texting about it the whole time.

“She’s just stunned and heartbroken,” said the insider, who did attend Houston’s funeral. “She sent Cissy flowers to her house, telling her how terrible she felt, how she really wanted to be there.”

The source said Franklin, 69, wanted “to attend the burial,” which she also missed. “But she’s still not 100%.”

Franklin, whom Houston called “Aunt ReRe” though they were not related, raised eyebrows by skipping the Houston funeral and later that night giving a fine show at Radio City Music Hall.

As we also reported, Franklin had a reception after the concert at the Ritz-Carlton hotel, where she arrived hand-in-hand with ex-fiancé William Wilkerson. The source said, “I saw Aretha Friday night, and you could see in her face she wasn’t well. Her leg was visibly giving her problems.”

Still, until 9 a.m. Saturday, Franklin “wanted to go” to the funeral. “Unfortunately, ” the source says, “something had to drop out.”

The Radio City show “was already a makeup show” from 2010, when Franklin was in the hospital, the source explained. “She would have been sued up the wazoo if she didn’t show up.”

In response to critics who, as the source put it, ask, “Why didn’t she just do what R. Kelly did and sing her song and leave?,” the insider insisted, “She couldn't do that. These are all the people she came up with through the business. She’s not going to leave early with Cissy right there. And can you imagine if they had to take her out in an ambulance? She wasn’t going to risk that disruption.”

“She and Cissy have been friends since the 1960s,” the source said. “They’re forever friends.”

Houston’s spokeswoman Jill Fritzo told us Cissy Houston had no comment.

I saw her on Wendy Williams like last year and she just rubbed me the wrong way and now all this. All these DIVAS ...some of them should just hang it up. Is this going on so hard in other diva music genres?!
