I like the music on this one better. I can imagine Barbara Mandrell singing this.

it's amazing how many of Whitney's hit songs were done by someone else before she recorded it.She (or Clive Davis) chose songs that were flops the first time out,and turned them into huge smash hits.

I liked when she hosted 'Solid Gold' in the 80s.She was a very good host....and who could forget those dramatic facial expressions she would sometimes make,as she was singing a song? lol

I'm a big fan of her Fifth Dimension work(she was the lead) and her style. I enjoy her but Whitney is the better vocalist bottom line.

I always thought Miss Marilyn was SOOOO SEXXYYYY! Gorgeous, GORGEOUS woman! Vocally, she's not all that, but like someone had said previously on this thread, "at least she wasn't smokin' no CRACK, jack. wink
