I was on some internet site and man... Mama DeBarge... Ms. Etterlene Abney DeBarge...

Can someone please just... put her in a nursing home or something? I mean, wow... had nerve to put words in her own son's mouth. I just read some article around the time of Whitney's death and she was going around about how she said El had told her that Whitney wanted help or something.

Anyway, El, according to Jawn Murray through his publicist stated that what Mama D reported was "not true".

I knew the woman was nuts when she was telling tabloids that James and Janet had a son (when for years it was a daughter) but damn this cut the cake with me.

I mean is she that clueless? I don't know, I'm guessing she's so messed up that she can't tell wrong from right and had to result in using the frigging Bible as an excuse.

Why isn't her children not watching her? Regardless of their own problems, they could altogether try to help her to get her own mind straight and not be in so much denial about the abuse they suffered at her late ex's hands.

And she gonna act like she "saw it coming" with Whitney. Please...

I don't know much about the mother so can't really speak. But hard to believe what's true or not with all the issues in that family. I see you lurk on Lipstick Alley too

Yeah, I used to see her posts on myspace. She's very religious. I don't know about her mental state as that has always been questionable through her postings. I know she endured years of abuse from her children's father, and maybe that could be the reason for the way she comes across.

Maybe but she also ignored her children's pleas for help. I hear Bunny still hasn't gotten over Etterlene not believing her when she said Robert Sr. was sexually molesting her babysitter (and her).

She is. For all of Joe's millions of faults, at least he helped his kids get and stay successful. MamaD didn't even do that much. She seems to be a leech on them and in her own way as destructive as PapaD.

lol from some posts I don't know where they based that on... unless I missed something. We're saying the same thing.

I didn't get to read Bunny's book, but only came across summations in other places. The babysitter thing wasn't mentioned and I must admit I find it shocking that the man was bold enough to go outside of the family w/ his mess!! I mean, that PapaD sitch was radioactive.
