Soul Train Tribute Thread

Inspired by the "sort of" memorial thread of Don Cornelius, I wanna do a dedication thread to

So come and post fave ST moments, videos, fave ST dancers, etc. Just as long as you keep Don C's death and legal stuff like for the DC sticky and not for this thread. I wanna keep it positive like Don would want his show to be. Have fun and wish Love, Peace & SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The other Bounce thread expired, so I'll just post in here. They're finally showing something different, at least I haven't seen this one. It's Johnnie Taylor and Millie Jackson. Meco's Star Wars Theme just played.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

YMCA! (is the first song) smile I didn't catch the whole intro to this one, but Gene Chandler is one of the guests. They've shown this one a few times.
