Sad. Ronnie was battling cancer for quite some time. He was only 64.

He was a really fine guitar player. I saw him with The Edgar Winter Group, and with his group Montrose. R.I.P. Rock stars are dropping like flies

I made a thread about the first Montrose album but Luv4u locked it
It was in tribute to Ronnie but it was about the album more then anything...

I had the privilege of seeing Montrose in '77 or '78, whenever they were touring for their second album.
