It's a bit presumptious for you to conjecture that she did not receive support/kind words and love from those in that church. You have no idea, and I would conjecture that you are probably wrong. I seriously doubt that those who loved her made jokes or punchlines of her issues. The public knows nothing about her or her family and friends. There is a reason they are in the church, and the public is not. So I think your comments are misguided.

I was just wonderin why we people always make a spectacle when it's 2 late...It's like we oughta show each other love daily but we never do till a day like this....fuck...

This celebration of life is quite appropiate for her. Faith and love for her God was always first she NEVER cut her church ties. I'm sure many of the folks you see today spoke with her and or prayed with her to beat her demons. I don't think she lacked love and support in her life. What imho shen DID lack were people to convince her to stop and way too many "yes" men around her. May she rest peacefully now..

Yeah that's the impression I got too...at the points where it seemed like he would take these breaks in between him talking, I felt it was to keep from crying.

Kevin made me cry. Excellent speech. Dionne-I am not trying to be mean, but her voice-every time I hear it today it is jarring-it like she is announcing a blue plate special or a lounge act. Alicia, please shut it and sing. She rubs me wrong
