Shakira has went and made quite the power move.

The Latin superstar has joined the house that Hov helped build and signed to Roc Nation Management. There aren't many details on the new deal, but Shakira joins the likes of Santigold, Ester Dean, and Jahlil Beats under the Roc Nation umbrella.

The singer shouldn't have trouble fitting in at the Roc, as she has sold over 60 million records, and has two Grammys under her belt. Shakira is no stranger to the hip-hop world, she has previously worked with Wyclef Jean and The Neptunes.

Looks like Shawn is trying to become the new Russell "RUSH" Simmons.

I think this is more of a management deal considering she signed that 360 deal with Live Nation a few years back.

Yeah, I hear ya. Russell Simmons was managing artists most namely (RUN-DMC) along with having artists on his own label in his early days.
